You can cast the role of any extra characters you want, but the characters I’m looking for are…
- Ichigo Kurosaki
- Rukia Kuchiki
- Orihime Inoue
- Sado “Chad” Yasutora
- Uryu Ishida
and because my g/f and I like him…
- Kenpachi Zaraki
These are the characters that you have to use if you want a shot at some free manga. If you don’t care about that, then ignore the list and cast your favorite characters.

Okay, here goes my initial picks for dream casting of BLEACH live-action!
Ichigo - Ryan Phillipe or young Paul Walker or even Shia LaBeouf
Rukia - Christina Ricci
Orihime - Amy Adams
Chad - William Levy Gutierrez
Uryu - Jared Leto
And a big thank you for including Zaraki. This was a tough one for me but I settled on….
Zaraki- Gerard Butler (the way he looked in 300!) or Viggo Mortensen
And a few others that occured to me:
Ikkaku - young Jason Statham or Wentworth Miller
Yumichika - Orlando Bloom or Adrian Grenier
Yachiru - Dakota Fanning
Isshin - Hugh Jackman
Urahara - Matthew Mcconaghy

Thanks for playing Linda. You got some good ones there. I particularly liked your choices for Urahara and Rukia. Matthew McConaughey (unless you did mean Matthew Mcconaghy) has that laid back attitude and Christina Ricci looks like Rukia.

So I thought about this for a bit and this is the cast I came up with.
Ichigo - Justin Chambers (Karev on Grey’s Anatomy) or Burn Gorman (Owen on Torchwood)
Rukia - Christina Ricci or Mila Kunis
Orihime - Amanda Bynes
Chad - Gael Garcia Bernal
Uyru - Ben Barnes
Kenpachi - Bruce Willis
And because once I started I couldn’t stop, I also cast -
Yachiru - Abigail Breslin
Urahara and/or Don Kanoji - Eddie Izzard
Yoruichi - Gina Torres
Renji - Gareth David Lloyd (Ianto on Torchwood)

Very interesting cast Kimber Leigh. I could see Abigail Breslin as the perfect Yachiru when she was younger.
So far it’s unanimous… Christina Ricci would be great as Rukia.

I just wanted to add that yes, I meant Matthew McConaughey. I can’t spell..sorry! I also gave it a bit more thought after reading Kimber Leigh’s suggestions and wanted to throw in these names as well…
Yoruichi - Eva Mendes
Don Kanoji - Antonio Banderas
Hanataro - Michael Cera
And I so completely agree with Kimber Leigh’s casting of Yachriu. Abigail Breslin is perfect!! If I think of more…I’ll be back!
