Kamichu! Anime DVD Volume 2: The Power of Love
Story
Yurie Hitotsubashi recently became a god. It’s not a big deal, but it does make things kind of awkward at home and at school. Helping people with their problems can be hard when you don’t even know what you’re supposed to be a god of. Yurie does the best that she can, but it can get tricky sometimes.
Yurie is learning more about her new powers and her new colleagues, the other gods. They even throw her a welcome party. Too bad the god of schoolwork didn’t show up, she could use his help.
If only things were going so well in other parts of her life.
What does a god do when they get sick? Even worse, what are you supposed to do when someone ask you to help them get the boy that you like? Would it be fair to use your power to gain an advantage over your new rival?

My Opinion
I don’t know why I waited so long to watch the second Kamichu! DVD. The story continues to be just as sweet and funny as the first volume. Yurie may be a god now, but she’s still a young girl with all the problems and drama that goes along with that.
We get to know a bit more about the other gods in this one. Some of them even help Yurie get to know her own family a bit better.
Is it worth it?
Kamichu! Volume 2 is worth it. I have no problem recommending this sweet and charming anime to anyone. It’s great.
