Quick Note

I was going to watch the Highlander anime I rented and write up a review earlier today. I watched the movie, but I’m gonna have to give this one a bit more thought. I’ll probably wind up watching the movie again before I get that review written up.

Why is this anime so deserving of extra attention? It’s Highlander, that’s why. I’ve been a fan of the Highlander series since I saw the first movie back in the 80s. I can’t just treat it like any other anime. Highlander is special to me.

That doesn’t mean it’s getting a good review though. I don’t automatically love everything that has the word Highlander slapped on it. The same goes for anime, I don’t love anime just because it’s anime.

I take this stuff seriously, maybe a bit too seriously.

Nah.

    Considering how much of a Highlander fanatic I am, I’m interested in your review… but you’re right, just because it has Highlander branding doesn’t mean that it’s good. Have you seen The Source? Not even Methos could save that crap.

    I was thinking Endgame myself, but the point works either way.
