The Next Live Action Anime

I’d like to ask you a question that kind of goes along with the last post. It’s along the same lines, but slightly different. More of a parallel line of thought.
What anime would you like to see made into a live action movie? (Casting opinions are optional)
I thought about asking what anime you’d like to see Keanu Reeves star in the live action version of, but he’s had 2 consecutive posts already. It’s time to share the spotlight a little bit. If you would like to cast Keanu, that’s cool too, just let us know which part.
You know my vote, I’d go with Voltron. What anime do you think has the best shot at being completely awesome if brought to life? Shoot, why stop there? What anime do you think would be entertaining in live action simply because it would be so horrifyingly awful?
Oh, and don’t say Ghost in the Shell, it’s been done. They called it The Matrix.
Woah.

Okay…I’ve given this some thought and the following are the animes that I think would not only be fairly easy to translate to live action but could be well made and well received…these are in no particular order…
Blood +
Trigun
Hellsing
Trinity Blood
Black Blood Brothers
Ergo Proxy
Zombie Loan
I realize that a lot of these focus on vampires. Part of the reason for that is that I think that Hollywood can do those types of films well. There you go…that’s my ideas for right now. The list for which ones they shouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole is way too long to list here! lol

Out of those, I think I’d like to see Hellsing and Ergo Proxy the most.
Why?
Because they stand the best chance of being good movies.
Hellsing is all about style. With the right people on the job that movie would be the coolest vampire movie since 30 Days of Night, which I loved.
I’d like to see Ergo Proxy as a movie because it’s wrapped around a very cool, very classic kind of Sci-Fi story. It’s a character driven story. I’m a pushover for that stuff.
Thanks for the comment.
