Win a $50 gift certificate to J-Box.

by Jason

I’m running a contest. To win all you have to do is leave comments on the blog. The prize is a $50 gift certificate to J-Box.

J-Box has a huge assortment of items from Japan including bento boxes, school uniforms, traditional items and things that are just plain strange. I’d suggest spending a little of your winnings on the snacks. Miyazaki fans might want to check out Sakuma Drops Candy seen in Grave of the Fireflies or Kompeito ~ Five Colors seen in Spirited Away.

Here are the details.

  • Contest will run from June 18th to June 30th.
  • All comments posted during that time, with a valid e-mail address are eligible. Please try to make the comments relevant to the post.
  • Drawing will be random.
  • Winner will be announced July 2nd.
  • I will try to verify the winner’s e-mail address before sending the gift certificate. If they do not respond I will draw another name.
  • If you leave a comment, please check your mail on July 1st. If you’ve won, please try to respond as soon as possible so I can send you your prize.

I have been wanting to get a bento box for awhile now and we just wrapped up a unit study on Japan so this would be great as a little “follow-up” surprise for the kids! Please enter me. Thank you.

  12. Genjuu Mugon Says:

I wish for some models (can’t get them where I live or anything for that matter)

  13. Allegra Ashley Says:

I’m obsessed with everything Japanese and I love J-List/J-Box. I would probably get the complete ninja suit that they’ve had for a while, because I want to cosplay for an upcoming anime convention, but still be kind of covered up. I’m too modest to do the half naked Faye Valentine look.
Besides, I don’t see too many old-school all black ninjas at conventions these days.

  14. 2xKnight Says:

I agree with you Ashley. Not enough old school ninjas. Closest I’ve seen at a con in the past few years would be Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe.

We need to mobilize the O.S.N.F., the Old School Ninja Force, and take back the cons.

Could you imagine a con where the O.S.N.F. showed up? At a con with the 501st it’d look like a black and white movie.
